Wild Red Raspberry Oxymel

WILD RED RASPBERRY OXYMEL

I made this beautiful and healthy wild red raspberry oxymel with the berries that are growing abundantly.

Raspberries are unusually rich in powerful antioxidants such as ellagic acid and flavonoids such as quercetin, kaempferol and anthocyanins which give raspberries their deep red color. Also an excellent source of manganese, Vitamin C and dietary fiber.

Raspberries are also a good source of folic acid, which reduces heart disease risk by lowering homocysteine levels, as well as a good source of potassium and magnesium, which help regulate blood pressure.

*************

Put freshly gathered wild red raspberries in a bowl, schmush (technical term) with your hands (or use your preferred method of schmushing).

I placed in container with plastic lid and added:

2/3 homemade apple cider vinegar

1/3 local buckwheat honey

Added a little water on top

(100% cat-approved)
