I have a deep love of silence. And yet, I feel joyful when words are said or written thoughtfully, with precision and care.
Some of my favorite words are: Freedom. Magic. Truth. Beauty. Creativity. Fun. Adventure. Kindness. Generosity. Compassion. Justice. Pleasure. Love.
Love is the essential word; it reveals the essence of Life on Earth.
Love Heals
Love doesn’t ask for anything. It simply is. Invisible. Potent. Impossible to fully define. And whether it is expressed gently or fiercely, love is the most powerful healing force on Earth.
I've been blessed to study with wonderful herbalists and spiritual teachers, and the most brilliant beings, the plants themselves. The plants are our friends, teachers, and healers. They are wise and generous. After many lifetimes of incarnating, learning what I needed to as fast as I could, then dropping my body, this time my relationship with the plants has inspired me to fall in love with being alive in a body on our beautiful Earth. I am deeply grateful.
They want to help you, too. I’ve seen thousands of people fall in love with life again through the magic that the plants awaken in us; they help us remember that we are part of Nature, that we are intertwined in kinship. I am honored to introduce you to them, to teach you how to gather, prepare and use them wisely and with gratitude, to make herbal medicine that heals you and your community on the deepest levels.
All plants are consciousness-altering. They will help you know who you are, and cause you to fall in love with yourself if you let them. These wise elders will guide you on your unique path of healing your mind, body, heart and soul, and as we heal ourselves we heal the world.
And if none of that particularly interests you yet, or you find it hard to believe, the plants will still help you ease aches and pains, fevers and flus, menstrual cramps and broken bones, digestive woes and heartaches, and all manner of challenges that come with being a human being in a body on Earth.
