Spring is in the Air!

Hello Friends!

Herbalism is best understood as a living thing, like nature herself

Rich in nuance and subtlety.

There is not one right way, not one best way…

Follow the guidance of your teachers

But always know you will benefit the most as you make the wisdom your own

Trust your own senses and experiences…

This is about reconnecting with the green beings.

Open to learn over time, not all at once

Open to receive and discover more than grasping to get

Focus on having experiences more than on collecting information

Focus on presence more than on getting somewhere

Focus on curiosity more than on knowing

Focus on pleasure more than on efficiency

Nature moves at her own pace!

In spring, the energy of the Earth is rising, and herbs can help us rise to meet and greet the light that is growing longer now.

Movement, food rich in nutrients, time outdoors, and of course, herbal infusions and flowers in our food can all help awaken our vitality. Joining in community and celebrating the passing of the seasons is another great way to keep our life force strong!

On Sunday, March 20 at 6:30pm EST, I will be leading a Spring Equinox Ritual Celebration. Consider this your invitation to celebrate with us virtually and cultivate your blossoming energy with me and my guest speakers! We will rise with energy of spring, get our creative juices flowing, and play. The event will include storytelling, movement, poetry, dancing. We will be painting eggs to represent cracking open our shells and rebirthing with the spring!

Tickets are $32 (sliding scale is available).

More details coming soon... Click here to reserve your spot!

On Tuesday, March 8, at 8pm, join me and Vanessa Chakour (IG - @vchakour), the author of Awakening Artemis, for a LIVE conversation on Instagram about reconnecting with the earth to reconnect with yourself. We'll be discussing practices, books, and other ways to keep this connection alive and strong.

Can't wait to see you there!
