New Moon/Solar Eclipse: The woes and wonders of this world

We are in a pivotal time, a time of choice, and to choose wisely, as we must, again and again, it is important to nourish ourselves with the beauty of the world. It is all too easy to stay attuned only to the world's woes, and not to her wonders. Wonders that range from a daily sunrise, to a cascading waterfall, to a mother tucking her child in to sleep with a kiss. I'm not advocating Pollyanna positivism, but a more nuanced awareness of reality than that which fills the airwaves. We must remember what it is we are laboring to bring to birth, a world that reflects and celebrates the best of humanity, not one that at best, only fears and criticizes the worst. Dare to practice fierce love, love that says No to that which is harmful and heinous and intolerable, and one that dares to shout Yes to everything that is good and beautiful and contained within Mother Nature's web of life.
