Nourishing, Medicinal Burdock

Check out my latest video on YouTube!

Burdock is one of the most important nourishing, medicinal herbs in my herbal medicine chest. I like to keep it on hand in several forms; dry roots for immune and lymph-strengthening infusions (and these roots can also be added to soups). Fresh root tincture is valuable as well, and helps to clear the skin. Infused vinegar, made with fresh store-bought, garden grown, or better yet, wild roots is not only delicious, but a fabulous way to get the kidney and liver strengthening, and joint lubricating gifts of burdock into your daily life simply by adding it to your food.
